勃朗宁《我的前公爵夫人》和《波菲利雅的情人》两首诗中的男性叙说者就是父权制社会男人权力和占有欲的典型代表,两位女性人物就是男权社会牺牲品的象征。男女共存的和谐社会才是理想的人文社会。

The present thesis tries to read Browning's 'My Last Duchess' and 'Porphyria's Lover' from a feminist point of view through a psychological and structural analysis of the poem, giving the conclusion that an ideal world would only be a coexisting society of men and women living in harmony.
