The reason was analyzed that influences the consistency of the voltage of each unit capacitor in the series ultra capacitor in detail. Different methods of the voltage balance and the existing problems were discussed, the active voltage balance circuit and the test result were proposed. The result from the test data expatiates that this circuit is efficient in the series ultra capacitor.
