This paper introduces the basic characteristics of viscose fiber and sulfur dyes.It researches on the methods of improving dyeing quality of viscose top from the aspects of equipment,technique, operation and management.The following are the main affective factors of dyeing quality and methods to solve the defects due to dyeing.Deciding proportion of sulfur dyes and sodium sulfide used.Sodium sulfide should be stored properly to protect it from oxidation and failure.Designing the dyeing technique well.Controlling the rate of temperature rise and ensuring the time of thermal insulation.Electrolyte has the effect of accelerant and portion-wise addition should be applied.
