The aesthetic pursuit in the early Tang Dynasty was a transition fr om Jin Dynasty to the middle Tang Dynasty. The early Tang Dynasty inherited the Pre- Tang calligraphy and theories and paved way for the aesthetic pursuit in t he middle Tang Dynasty.
