摘要
Holliday,Ariel等语言学家关于主题展开衔接中的照应理论可作为英语水平得失的参照座标。通过语料的实例分析,强调掌握照应标示语的可及度、匹配原则、及英汉差异等是正确使用照应标记的关键。
The paper, on the basis of the theories proposed by Halliday, Ar ie l and other linguists, deals with the anaphoric errors in the cohesion of topic development in the 52 College English students' English writing. The results ind icate that the students have difficulty in using the noun- formed anaphoric mar kers, which mistakenly leads to the six anaphoric types. The author holds that t he teachers of the English writing should focus much on the students' ability de velopment in anaphoric accessibility, matching principle and differences between English and Chinese. With the help of the anaphoric teaching practice by multi - media, the students have made great progress in these respects.
