A General Correlation of “MPPS” Penetration as a Function of Face Velocity with the Certitest 8140 and the Certitest 8160

比较了用TSI8140与TSI8160测试仪测得的最具渗透性颗粒粒径(MPPS)的渗透率数据,建立了MPPS渗透性与可能在预测中用到的表面流速的相关式。

The most penetrating particle size (MPPS) penetration measured by Certitest 8160 was compared to that measured by Certitest 8140 in the paper. A correlation of the MPPS penetration with face velocity that may be useful to predict MPPS penetration was presented.
