Based on railway sub-bureau dispatch system application, the paper analyzes the function and some problems of JDBC1.0 in database connection, introduces new features and advantages of JDBC2.0 in solving these problems. Moreover, an example is given according to the practical application. The research confirms excellent functions and good future of JDBC2.0 through evaluating its function in the application of railway sub-bureau dispatch system.
