Web browser have been the standard of the remote monitor and control in embedded system. More and more embedded system will add XML to remote HTTP service. Embedded processor that supports Web can simplify the system design. The paper will introduce XML and embedded system, analyze the character of embedded Web function and describe the crucial part and XML-RPC of developing embedded Web application. This system will broaden the optional scope which the developer can use.
