戴震以人性论为基础提出了他的理欲观,与程朱相比,他既看到理和欲的统一性,又看到理和欲的矛盾性,提出了对立统一的理欲观和人性择善论的思想。这不仅在新安理学中占有重要地位,而且对近代思想的发展有深远影响。

Based on humanism, Daizhen proposes his view of sense-and-desire. In comparison with Chengzhu, he not only sees the unity of the two but also the contradiction. Thus he puts forward his idea of counter-but-cooperated view of sense-and-desire and humanism. Such has occupied a critical part of Xin'an theory and great influence in history.
