The characteristics and applications of the thin plate fixed bed adsorbers in the circulation ventilation pipe systems were presented. The adsrobers that were equipped with several closely spaced parallel screen plates were integrally installed in the circulation ventilation pipe system to realize gas purification and adsorption. The adsorbers had the advantages of big contact area of gas phase and solid phase, small bed layer resistance, simple structure, and easy operation. They were very suitable for removing harmful gases in comparative closed environments.
