The planning of the Man-made Lake ofXiangshuiyuan in Qingchengshan is made under theguiding ideology of overall landscape planning andecological effect.The planned area is divided into theopen landscape district A and C and the private land-scape district B,and major scenic spots are respec-tively set in them.The landscape districts are con-nected with each other by a road system whichseparates the flow of pedestrians from vehicles withpreference given to the pedestrians.Prominence isgiven to the traditional culture of the folk residence inSichuan and the characteristics of the Taoisticculture.[
