Discussion on the Design of Xinyi People's Square

信宜市人民广场规划从“南国玉都”的城市文化特质中提炼出广场的设计概念,即营造“大珠小珠落玉盘”的诗意空间,并运用具象和意象的手法,将概念糅合到物质空间形态设计之中,以表达场所环境的意义。

The planning of Xinyi People's Square is based on the design concept abstracted from the urban cultural characteristics of'Jade Capital of the Southland '.That is,to create the poetic space of'a jade plate full of pearls of different sizes'.This con- cept is used in the design of the material special configuration to express the environmental signifi- cance of the site by the method of concretization and image.
