《史记·滑稽列传》前三章记载优孟、淳于髡、优旃事迹,但今本《史记》不仅三人前后次序颠倒而且年数有误。对此历来没有合理解释。导致这一结果的原因可能是因为竹书韦编错乱。若按每简28-29字排列,则只须调换各章编连次序就可得出正确的人物年代次序。
The current edition of Hua-ji-lie-zhuan (a chapter of Shi-ji) has a surprising chronological puzzle. Not only the date but also the sequence of its three protagonists conflict with the rest section of this masterpiece. None of scholars knew why before. This paper infers that it was the wrong order of arrangement for the bamboo strips, maybe soon after Shi-ji 史记 finished, that resulted in this mistake.
