In order to inprove the production efficiency of the clothing manufacturing industry of our country, It must combine the body measure, shape analysis and custom-tailor of traditional clothing production. We analyze the basic characteristic of XML and presents an application of XML in web-based Custom-tailor System. We also exposited three application ways of XML: data display ;data exchange and data store. Practice indicates, We can Utilize XML technology to realize the convenient and swift custom-tailor service online.
