摘要
通过模拟实验研究发现,测量误差随着标定参照物与摄像机之间距离的增大,及标定参照物与被测量平面间距离的减小,呈现出先增加后减小的趋势,而在标定参照物靠近摄像机时的误差最小.研究还发现,在被测平面到摄像机的距离保持不变时,被测区域越大,测量误差越大.
Based on extensive simulations, this short note shows that the measurement errors have the tendency to increase at first, then decrease with the increase of the distance from the camera to the calibration pattern, or in other words, with the decrease of the distance from the calibration pattern to the measurement plane. In addition, the resulting measurement errors are smaller when the calibration pattern is closer to the camera than those when the pattern is closer to the measurement plane. Besides, it is shown that when the distance from the camera to the measurement plane is fixed, the larger the measurement area on the plane is, the larger the degree of measurement errors will be. The above results could serve as a theoretical guidance in real vision based measurement applications.
