摘要
以评价《信息检索实用教程》一书为议题,概述了近20余年间我国图书馆及其专业教育从文献检索到信息检索的发展历程;并联系《中国大百科全书·图书馆学卷》中的观点,发表了对图书馆新定义讨论的看法。
Taking the evaluation of the book A Practical Course Book on Information Retrieval as its topic, this paper summarizes the development of library in China and the changes in its specialty education from literature retrieval to information retrieval in the past 20 years . It also presents a view on the discussion of the new definition of library by relating to the idea shown in China Encyclopedia - Library Volume.
