朱光潜的《诗论》是中国百年新诗史上最具科学性和逻辑性的诗学论著。《诗论》在王国维《人间词话》的基础上为诗话到诗学的转变作出了开创性的贡献 ,但是在体例上还有不够统一的地方。《陶渊明》一章与全书的体例不协调 ,这说明《诗论》

On Poetry is a most scientific and logical work on poetry in the centennial history of Chinese new poetry. In the wake of Wang Guowei, Zhu Guangqian makes great contributions to the transformation from poetry writing to poetry study. But some inconsistencies still exist in the writing system of On Poetry, which is shown in the relationship between Chapter XIII and the whole book.
