From culture politicalization to culture modernization——Culture development trend in China's modernization

文化变革是社会转型的重要内容。文化政治化是中国传统社会的基本特征。要实现文化变革,首先要对文化政治化进行辩证的反思,在自我反思和批判中推陈出新。文化现代化是中华文化自身发展的内在要求。从文化政治化到文化现代化也就成为中国文化现代转型的目标追求。

Cultural change is an important part of social transformation. Culture politicalization is the essential characteristic of traditional Chinese society. In order to effectuate cultural change, attempts should be made to dialectically examine culture politicalization and weed out the old fashioned to bring forth the new during self-examination and criticism. As culture modernization is the inherent demand of the self-development of Chinese culture, the cultural transformation from culture politicalization into culture modernization is the goal and pursuit for modern Chinese culture.
