The Noun Suffix “la”in Pu-tao Ping Dialect and the Noun Suffix “l”and “t” in the Ning-yuan Ping Dialect

广西葡萄平话的名词后缀la33及湖南宁远平话的名词后缀l 、t ,语法意义与普通话名词后缀“子”的语法意义相当。本文结合汉语的内部材料及外部材料,对“子”字的上古音声母进行了探讨,认为“子”字上古音声母为复辅音,la33、l 、t 应是“子”字的上古音遗存。

The noun suffix “la” in Guangxi Pu-tao Ping dialect and the noun suffix “l” and “t” in Hunan Ning-yuan Ping dialect have similar grammatical meaning to that of the noun suffix “zi” in mandarin. This article probes into the initial of the “shanggu” syllable of the word “zi” believing that this initial is a compound consonant and that “la” , “l” and “t” are the remains of “shanggu” syllable of “zi”
