The latest research made in Europe on Hans Christian Andersen provides new perspectives and possibilities for reinterpreting the four masterpieces of the great writer. Through a study of his major works, this paper, from the point of view of a Chinese scholar, offers a new theoretical channel for a more thorough understanding and in-depth study of the writer and better popularization of his works.
