The techniques for cultivation of Cucumis melo L. in big shed covered with plastic film are practised, which include soil sterilization, proper planting density, hanging up and pruning vines, rational fertilization, harvest in time and controlling disease and pests. With the technology, the yield of the fruit with over 15% sugar content could reach 40.5t/ hm 2.
