Investigations and Studies on Ginkgo biloba around Taishan

泰山共有银杏树２９３６株，其中古树３１株，中龄树３６２株，幼龄树２５４３株。除２５９２株集中栽植外，其余３４４株均为散植。泰山最大银杏树树高３５ｍ，胸高直径２．４２ｍ，平均树高３．２ｍ、平均直径６．８ｃｍ。９０％银杏分布在海拔１５０～２５０ｍ的泰山南麓。最高海拔８２０ｍ处长有４３年生银杏人工林，平均树高１０．６ｍ、平均直径１４．６ｃｍ．海拔２１０ｍ处７年生矮干密植丰产园，近３ａ长枝生长量２９．３ｃｍ、干高５６ｃｍ、树高１３７ｃｍ、干径２．３ｃｍ、冠幅７７ｃｍ×８２ｃｍ、主枝长８７ｃｍ．

There are 2936 Ginkgo biloba around Taishan, among which 31 old ones, 362 adult ones and 2543 young ones. The mean height of the plant around Taishan is 3.2 m, mean D.B.H. is 6.8 cm, the biggest and oldest Gingko has 35 m in height and 2.42 m in D.B.H. 90% of Ginkgo distribute at 150-250 m elevation on the southfacing slope of Taishan. At 820 m in elevation, there is a man-made 43-years Ginkgo population, their mean height is 10.5 m and 14.6 cm in D.B.H. 7-yeags Ginkgo cultivated at 210 m elevation in an orchard have mean height of 137 cm, trunk height of 56 cm, crown range of 77 cm×82 cm.
