Academies and Higher Education of Calligraphy nowadays

四十年的高等书法教育,在办学规模、人才培养、学术研究、学科建设等方面取得了很大的成就,对当代中国书法的发展做出重要的贡献,但在具体的教育实施过程中,也突出地暴露了诸如学科定位不明、专业设置缺少规范等严重问题,亟待解决。最后,文章提出了一些解决问题的建议。

The higher education of calligraphy in the past forty years has achieved great successes in such aspects as the scale of the institutes, cultivating the talents, academic researches and the construction of subjects, has made an important contributions to the development of Chinese calligraphy However, there exists some serious problems to be solved in the process of practice, like the uncertainty of subject orientation, the setup of speciality being short of crite-rions , and the article puts forward some suggestions accordingly in the end.
