This paper introduces the characteristics, construction methods of the mouldable refractory and its application effect on the roofs of the reheating furnaces in Angang Hot Rolled Strip Plant.For its good spallation resistance, ability of bearing violent change of temperature and long service life,the mouldable refractory is suitable for the roofs of the large continuous reheating furnaces.
