语言功能的多重性,使它不仅传达信息,而且表达说话人或作者的个人情感,并影响读者的感情世界。译者是原作的第一读者。由于主观情感的介入,不同的译者可能会选用不同的词语表达原作者主观态度与情感,同时,也多多少少流露了译者个人的态度与情感。认识到此,对翻译将大有裨益。

Language is so multi - functional that it can not only transfer information, but also carry emotiveness. Different translators, with their own emotiveness involved, will employ different words to render. Knowing that, the translators will do better.
