摘要
用氢氧化镁(MH)和水合硼酸锌(ZB)无卤阻燃高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)。测试了试样的拉伸强度、弹性模量、断裂伸长率、氧指数、维卡软化点。针对无卤阻燃体系韧性下降很大的缺点,采用羟基硅油进行增韧。结果表明,100 份MH和10份ZB可使体系氧指数达到28.0%,但同时韧性大幅下降,加入6份羟基硅油可在一定程度上改善材料的韧性。
Halogen-free flame retardant(magnesium hydroxide)and smoke suppressant additives(zinc borate) were used to improve the flame retardant behavior of HDPE .The tensile strength, elastic modulus, elongation at break, oxygen index and vicat softening temperature of the samples were tested. Due to the obvious decrease of the toughness of halogen free flame retardant systems, hydroxy silicone oil was used to improved the toughness of the system. The results showed that the oxygen index of the system could get to 28.0% if 100 phr MH and 10 phr ZB were added to the system. At the same time, the toughness of the system was decreased greatly.6 phr hydroxy silicone oil could improve the toughness of the system.
