The consideration and response to the newly reformed national college English syllabus for non-English majors

本文讨论了我国大学英语教学现状,新一轮大学英语教学改革的意义和特点,分析了本次大学英语教学改革可能存在的问题,结合我校大学英语教学的具体情况,提出了落实和实施本次教学改革的思路和方法。

This paper discusses the current problems in college English teaching for non-English majors in China, studies the main principles and features of the recently reformed college English syllabus,analyses the hidden barri- ers in implementing the new syllabus and puts forwards the suggestions for Hebei University of Technology to inno- vate the course design,contents,methodology and assessment,according to the new national syllabus.
