摘要
通过对多协议标签交换(MPLS)网络中实现虚拟专用局域网业务(VPLS)的关键性技术———虚电线和标签分布协议(LDP)的研究,发现基于此技术的VPLS全网格连接结构限制了VPLS的规模。本文在IETF层次化VPLS解决方案的基础上,设计出两个避免全网格问题的组网方案,利用连接不同级别的VPLS网络,减少虚电线的数量和提高网络的可扩展性。
By analyzing the key technologiespseudo wire and Label Distribution Protocol (LDP)to implement the Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS) in Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) networks, the authors discover the scale limitation of VPLS based on these technologies, which arises from the full mesh problem. Based on the hierarchical VPLS solution of IETF,the authors discuss two practical networking designs, which connect VPLS networks with different grade, to reduce the amount of pseudo wire, avoid full mesh problem, and improve the scalability of the VPLS networks.
