"重实践轻理论"曾是我国翻译研究的一大特点,近年来已引起翻译界的反思。试从翻译理论的结构、作用及其开放性三个方面谈谈对翻译理论的认识,以说明翻译理论研究的重要性。

'Emphasis on practice rather than theory 'is one of the characteristics of translation study in our country. It has caused deep reflection in the translation circle. This article tries to discuss the understanding of translation theory by analyzing the structure, function and opening of translation theory, thus ilustrate the impor-tance of translation theory study.
