现代大学制度的建构已成为高等教育发展的根本指向与实践准则。从最初的中世纪大学的诞生到近代大学的承续和现代大学的发展．贯穿着现代大学制度的基础理念与价值追求．但现代大学制度的建设是一个远未完成的时态。

To establish modern college system is the basic aim and guiding principle of higher educatoin. The building of the first university in Middle Ages and the development of modern universities have revealed some basic features of modern collge system and people’s consistent pursuit for building modern college system.There is still a long way to go to build a perfect system.
