America's Role in Promoting Conciliation between France and Germany

法德两国一直被人们视为推动欧洲一体化的轴心。法德轴心的形成同美国的调节和促进分不开。美国从全球战略及自身利益出发，一开始就支持欧洲一体化的过程。调节法德矛盾，促进法德和解，重新武装德国，支持德国经济复兴等是美国支持欧洲早期一体化的主要内容。

As Axis powers in promoting integration in Europe,France and Germany built a cooperative relationship during the Cold War,which was an effort of America.Proceeding from global strategy and its own benefits,America was in favor of integration in Europe in the first place,as seen through its effort to mediate between France and Germany, to rearm Germany and to help with Germany’s economic resurgence.
