Abstract It is important to solve the oil leak for the rotary vane vacuum pump.In this paper,the cause and effect of the problem are analysed,and the methods are provided.Some of the experiments to prevent oil leak for the rotary vane vacuum pump made in shanghai vacuum pump works and the results are presented.
