The study of natural gas hydrate is a hotspot in the exploitation of world energy sources. How to use NGH technology in natural gas storage and transport is becoming its focus. The general situation of the study of this technique in world, the applied direction and the specialty, and the economy comparison with other non-pipeline techniques to storage and transport gas is presented in this paper.
