The comparison between rubber latex adhesives and rubber solvent adhesives with regard to their advantages and drawbacks was made. The practical value of NRL adhesives used in rubber shoes industry was confirmed, and the main secondary agents varieties and function were given. The recent development in this field was also discussed.
