Functions and traps of Chinese language

语言的功能:表达与交流、历史记忆、承载文化、发展构建与伸展、审美、政治、心理调节、哲学与神学、游戏。语言的陷阱:言、意和文之间的错位,语言与现实的脱节,语言统治着人类,语言荒谬化的诱惑。

Language mainly has those functions as expression and communication, historical memory, cultural bearing, and construction, development and expansion of language, and aesthetics, politics, psychological regulation, philosophy and theology, and game. Meanwhile, it also has its traps as malposition among what is said, what is meant and what is written, and parting from reality, its ruling over human, temptation of absurdity.
