实用性与科学性的统一——牛津-剑桥电脑英语分级测试评介 被引量:3

Balance between Technical Creditability and Practical Convenience: A Critique on the Computerized Quick Placement Test

摘要 本文从考试特性、优势、缺陷等方面对牛津-剑桥电脑英语分级测试作了简要评介,并针对其缺陷提出了革新策略.统言之,该电脑适应性测试兼具科学性与实用性,比同域卷面考试具有显著的优越性,十分适用于对学生进行分级或编班. This article provides a critical introduction to the computerized adaptive Quick Placement Test developed by UCLES and OUP with respect to its features, advantages and disadvantages. In response to its disadvantages, the authors also propose possible strategies for improving the test. Overall, due to its eminent technical creditability and practical convenience, the test can be highly recommended as an ideal placement test of English.
