摘要
在介绍镍氢电池充放电特性的基础上,研究了一种可用于便携式电子设备的Buck 型电池管理器。该电池管理器由充电和放电两个不同回路构成,采用单片机进行充电控制,单片机在充电过程中对电池电压和电池温度进行监控,保证电池的安全充电。介绍了电路的工作原理,参数设计方法和充电过程控制策略。为了进一步提高效率和降低成本,提出了一种改进型电池管理器电路。该电路采用小阻值的电流检测电阻,降低了损耗,提高了充电效率;充放电共用一回路,只需采用一对M OSFET,降低了成本。实验证明,该改进型电路工作稳定可靠。
On the basis of analyzing charging and discharging characteristics of Ni-MH batteries,a manager employing Buck converter is presented.The battery manager is fit for portable electronic equipment.The manager consists of charging and discharging channels and the charging process is controlled by MCU.To ensure the safety of charging process,the battery voltage and temperature are monitored.The operation and design principles and the control scheme for charging process are introduced.To improve the charging efficiency and reduce the production cost,amended circuit is put forward. Little value resistor is adopted to cut down the wastage and the efficiency of charging is improved.There is one channel for charging and discharging and only a couple of MOSFET is used.Its cost is cut down. The experiment results approved the stabilization and credibility of the manager with the amended circuit.
