The situation of chemical water treatment equipment in Niangziguan electric power plant was introduced, the problems that the cyclic water-treated quantity of demineralization plant was slightly less and the consumption of acid & alkali was slightly higher than expectation were analyzed, based on the analysis above, the improvement of intermediate discharge water device was done, making the cyclic water-treated quantity of the primary desalted water system higher, reducing the cost of power generating, gaining a lot of economic and social benefit.
