This paper begins with the definition of intrusion for computer network,intrusion detection and intrusion detectiontechniques.Then misuse intrusion detection and anomaly intrusion detection of IDS's are represented .After that ,the techniques ofreinforcement learning and support vector machines for intrusion detection are introduced from the perspective of machinelearning.
