Er:LN晶体的生长和激光性能研究

摘要 在LiNbO3中掺进(0、0.5、1.0、1.5mol%) Er2O3,以Czochrals技术生长LiNbO3、Er(1mol%):LiNbO3、Er(2mol%):LiNbO3、Er(3mol%):LiNbO3晶体。测试Er:LiNbO3晶体的吸收光谱,确定晶体的泵浦波长,Er:LiNbO3晶体的吸收变相对LiNbO3晶体发生红移,红移的程度随Er3+浓度的增加而增大。测试Er:LiNbO3晶体的荧光光谱,Er:LiNbO3晶体易实现激光震荡的波长4I13/2→4I15/2(~1.5μm),是制作波导激光器的最合适的波长。测试Er:LiNbO3晶体的光损伤阈值,其结果高于LiNbO3晶体。Er(3mol%):LiNbO3晶体的光损伤阈值比LiNbO3晶体高一个数量级。 Doped with (0,0.5,1.0,1.5mol%) Er2O3 in LiNbO3 , following crystals were grown by the Czochralski method:LiNbO3,Er(1mol%):LiNbO3,Er(2mol%):LiNbO3 and Er(3mol%):LiNbO3. The Absorption spectra of Er:LiNbO3 crystal was measured, itspump wavelength was determined, the absorption edges of Er:LiNbO3 crystal shift to the longer wavelength in compare with thatof LiNbO3, the shifting degree increase with the heighten of Er3+ concentration. Tested the fluorescent spectra of Er:LiNbO3crystal, at the wavelength 4I13/2→4I15/2(~1.5μm) Er:LiNbO3 is prone to realize laser vibrate, which is the most suited wavelengthfor making wave-guide laser. Tested the photodamage threshold of Er:LiNbO3 crystals and find it higher than that of LiNbO3crystals. The photodamage threshold of Er(3mol%):LiNbO3 improve one order of magnitude than that of LiNbO3 crystals.
