摘要
This interview was made by Xie Lanlan at the University of Oslo, Norway when she worked as a visiting scholar there. In the interview, Professor Knut Brynhildsvo ll, the director of the Centre for Ibsen studies at the University of Oslo, Norway firstly mentioned that the Ibsen Centre has started research programs in the field of Ibsen reception in many cou ntries. This intercultural study greatly enlivens Ibsen studies. Professor Knut Brynhildsvoll also has noticed the changes that have taken place in the field of Ibsen studies in parts of Chin a academic and theatre circles in China, i.e. for a long time in the past the academic research was focused on the ideology of Ibsen dramas, and now this research has been turned into the directi on of valuing the aesthetic qualities in Ibsen’s dramas and looking upon them from the viewpoint o f new theoretical concepts including the intercultural aspects. The intercultural significance of performing Ibsen in China makes it differ a lot from productions of the plays in western countries . The successful team-work between actors from China and Norway in last year’s Peer Gynt- production has shown that there will be a further cooperation in the field of artistic exchange and Ibsen studies between Norway and China.
