Selection of Maize Hybrid 'Danke2162'

丹科2162是丹东农业科学院以自选系W9235为母本、丹598为父本组配而成的玉米单交种。各级试验示范结果表明丹科2162比现在应用品种增产5%以上,具有高产,抗各种病害,抗倒伏,抗旱性强,生育期适中,适应性广等特点,是北方春玉米区重点推广的新品种。

Danke2162 is a hybrid maize bred in Dandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences with two self bred inbred lines of W9235 as female parent and Dan598 as male parent. It was clear through every degree of test that Danke 2162 can increase grain yield more than 5% than the varieties used in production and has the characters of grain yield high, being resistant to many kinds of diseases, being resistant to lodging and drought, being moderate of maturity and having wide adaptability. It is one of the hybrids mainly extended in northern spring maize planting area.
