The analysis of the ferro-silicon electric arc furnace's discrete capacitor is based on electric circuit basic theory.Based on analysis of a ferro-silicon arc furnace's discrete capacitor,it is indicated that the discrete capacitor installation is effective to improve the efficiency of using electricity;this way may be used in other furnace.
