源远流长的中国历史文化是由若干区域文化单元交流融合而成的。淮海民间小调作为单元之一,既是淮海戏内容的来源,也是该地人民文化生活、风俗习惯的折射和缩影,该地民间小调经过了历史兴衰演变,形成了一定的曲式结构与艺术风格。

The five thousand year-old Chinese culture is a harmonious blend and integration of all kinds of area cultures. As a part of it, folk tune in Huaihai area is the kaleidoscopic refraction of local people's lives and customs as well as the origin for the Haihai Opera: hence a glorious tradition and a strong influence. In this paper, the writer gives a simple conception on its rise and decline and some advice on how to improve and protect it.
