A new N isobutylamide, (2E, 4E, 8Z) N isobutyltetradecatrienamide, along with two known amides and N methylflindersine, was isolated from the fruits of Phellodendron chinense Schneid.They are responsable for insecticidal and antifeedantal activities in the fruit.
