The factors affecting the reduction process in smelting magnesium include hydration activity of the calcined white, loss of weight on ignition, imbibition, burden, size reduction, density of pellet, reduction temperature, reduction duration, and vacuum level. Only having made clear the factors affecting the reduction process, can we properly design the process and effectively guide the production.
