According to project design information of 600 MW unit both in domestic and abroad, the basic principles and calculation methods for parameter selection of grounding transformer were introduced. Through the analysis of project example, the relevant equipment parameters of grounding transformer for 600 MW unit were checked, and the specification, selection method and the unified parameter of the equipment were summarized in order to accomplish the unified standard and specification in similar projects.
