The Economic Vicissitudes in South Chinese Sea and Modern South-Eastern Regions-with the Min-nan Region as Its Centre

闽南地区既是中国东南地区的一个重要组成部分,也是环南中国海地区的一个重要构成部分。闽南地区社会经济变迁牵动了环南中国海华人跨国网络的一系列变化,并从一张华人跨国贸易网络,演化为一个由贸易、移民、金融、社会等多种网络交叉构成的复合网络。华人跨国网络的变化,又影响、制约了闽南地区社会经济变迁的趋势和力度。

Min-nan Region is an important part of both south-eastern China and of areas ringing sea of southern China. Its social and economic vicissitudes influenced people's oversea trading network and thereby evolved into a complex network encompassing trading, immigrating, finance and societal networks. And this restricted the tendency and strength of social changes in the region.
