The basic principle and mathematical model of Shift-Share method was presented. Based on China's actual condition, the calculation procedure of the method and analytic technique were introduced. The range and depth of analysis were extended. Taking Henan province as an example, its application value was put forward by the analysis of China's urban and regional industrial structures and the guidance for the development of dominating industries.
