The Cultivation of Honesty among College Students in the Context of Local Culture──A Case Study of Chaoshan Area and Shantou University

地域文化有着独特的文化底蕴和精神内涵,对包括诚信在内的大学生思想道德观念的形成往往起着潜移默化的作用。汕头大学作为一个地方性的大学,在大学生的诚信建设中,应以潮汕文化为重要素材和切入点,充分利用地域文化的地方性、典型性、直观性和生动性等优势,排除不当的文化偏见,有利于在大学生中有效树立起诚信有为的人生理念。

The local culture has special cultural essence and spiritual connotations,which exerts a subtle influence upon the college students in the moral cultivation.To establish sense of honesty in Shantou University students,its features as a local university should be taken into consideration.Full use should be made of the local culture with its typical characteristics,local color,visuality,and vitality,and cultural prejudice should be eliminated.
